We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Programme Management Office (PMO) to support the delivery of a wide variety of change projects across the agency. Note this role is maternity cover until May 2027.
The PMO is responsible for the successful delivery of a transformation programme comprising a wide variety of projects within Scottish Forestry.
Projects can span:
- system improvements
- processes redesign
- management information
- organisational change
To be successful, you need to have:
- experience (min 3 years) delivering complex projects in a project manager role
- a good working knowledge of change management frameworks and approaches
- good numerical and budget management skills
- excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
You will:
- play a key role in helping us to plan, co-ordinate and track internally and externally focused improvement related projects which help us achieve the Scottish Government’s ambitions for forestry in Scotland
- collaborate closely with colleagues from across the agency to help our organisation meet emerging needs and increasing demands
