Land Information Search (LIS)

The Land Information Search lets you explore and identify landscape features that need to be considered when applying for grant funding or felling permission.

Running a search will display a range of features such as:

scheduled monuments
native woodland
Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI)

Features like these must be taken into account if you are applying for:

Forestry Grant Scheme funding
Available funding and support
Felling permission
Apply to fell trees
Scotland Rural Development Programme (SRDP) contracts
