This climate change programme develops the commitments made in the Scottish Forestry Strategy which, since its publication in 2006 has given strong emphasis to the role of Scotland’s forests in mitigating, and responding to, climate change.

Summary

It explains what Forestry Commission Scotland (now Scottish Forestry) will do over the next few years to increase the contribution of forestry to Scotland’s climate change response, and to meeting the Scottish Government’s climate change targets.
