Summary
Glen Dye Moor is a proposed forestry EIA project on the eastern edge of the Grampian Mountains.
The proposal area covers 6,325 hectares. It includes 3,000 hectares of new woodland (2,000 hectares of native woodland and 1,000 hectares of productive conifer).
Consultation
Scottish Woodlands Ltd has submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report under the Forestry EIA (Scotland) Regulations 2017.
We are consulting the public and statutory stakeholders on this report until 21 January 2026. Consultation feedback will inform our decision to consent or refuse the project later in 2026.
