How we manage our human, physical and information sources

We share a number of supporting services with Forestry and Land Scotland. These services are detailed in a Service Level Agreement that covers a 3-year period.

This includes:

  • payroll and some elements of HR
  • technical learning and development
  • health, safety and wellbeing
  • IT services and support
  • fleet management
  • building advisory services – maintenance, repair and compliance of SF buildings

We use the Scottish Government’s eRDM tool, Objective for record management. 

We also have our own file plan which sits within the overall Scottish Government plan.
