This guidance note sets out Forestry Commission Scotland (now Scottish Forestry) policy for selecting suitable origins, provenances, and categories of planting material for planting native species of trees and shrubs in Scotland.

Summary

The policy will apply both to SF support for private woodlands and to the management of the national forest estate.
