Participants will hear about the:

- challenges encountered during implementation
- benefits being seen on the ground
The event will also provide an opportunity for discussion and knowledge sharing among farmers and land managers interested in integrating trees into their own businesses.
Speaking about the event, Matt said: “Trees are integrated throughout our farming system and provide a wide range of benefits, from shelter and browse for livestock to improved biodiversity and water management. We're looking forward to sharing what we've learned, discussing both the successes and challenges, and showing how these approaches can work alongside a commercial livestock enterprise.”
Representatives from Scottish Forestry will be on hand to answer questions about woodland creation funding and grants, and to provide practical advice on getting started.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
